The Restoration Project was founded in 2019 with a simple but powerful belief: that when people do the inner work of understanding themselves, everything around them changes — their leadership, their teams, their relationships, their results.
Brooke Fitzgerald joined the organization in 2020, bringing her own hard-won understanding of what it means to rebuild. Before becoming a coach, Brooke spent nearly a decade owning a coffee shop in downtown Cedar Rapids — not because she loved coffee, but because she loved what happened inside those walls. The conversations. The connections. The way a good space could change what felt possible for someone.
When she closed those doors in early 2020, she didn’t know what came next. What she did know was that she wanted to do work that mattered — work where she could help people lead from their best selves, not just survive the season they were in.
Coaching was that work.
Today, Brooke leads The Restoration Project as its sole owner — bringing over a decade of coaching experience, a direct and grounded approach, and an unshakable belief that leadership is something you practice, not something you perform.
